Some IFC format file entities generated by CYPECAD MEP may have properties whose local measurement units are different to the global units of the project. For example, the internal roughness coefficient of the pipes of radiant floors is exported in mm and not in the global units of the project (m).

The export to IFC format (Industry Foundation Classes) carried out by CYPECAD MEP, now includes the thickness of the air conditioning and ventilation ducts that have been designed by the program.

The representation of wall openings, generated when exporting to IFC from CYPECAD MEP, has been improved.

As of the 2013.j version, the export to IFC format (Industry Foundation Classes) now includes the tendons of the post-tensioned slabs that can be introduced in CYPECAD thanks to the new Post-tensioned concrete slabs for buildings module that has also been implemented with this version.
