The BIMEPD project addresses, given its nature, the production and development of BIM-based multimedia material by considering the challenges associated with Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
CYPE is a Spanish research-intensive SME dedicated to developing technical software for Architecture, Engineering and Construction professionals. We develop solutions based on open formats for many different areas: energy efficiency, structures, architecture, LCA, acoustics, MEP, cost estimation, fire protection, lighting, gas, urban planning, telecommunications, health and safety, etc.
Our approach focuses on developing BIM simulation software and design code compliance. CYPE is involved in all levels of research related to the different phases of the Construction Life Cycle.
The entire CYPE ecosystem of tools is interconnected via the cloud. This allows highly complex projects to be developed collaboratively with real-time synchronisation. Furthermore, storing information in the cloud ensures persistence and immediate access from any device or web browser.
CYPE software automates all phases of project development, including programs that generate manufacturing drawings and lists of parts for the construction of specific brand-name equipment.
CYPE is promoting the use of Open BIM technology which allows users to be part of a collaborative workflow in an open and coordinate manner amongst all the construction professionals in the project team. Open BIM will also grant the AEC industry the capability to manage a building during its entire life-cycle. CYPE contributes to this with the development and constant improvement of the BIM platform in the BIMserver.center cloud.
CYPE is developing software for conducting thermal and energy analyses, helping our clients to maintain low energy consumptions and CO2 emissions in buildings. Our target is to assist professionals during the design and renovation process to achieve Net Zero Energy buildings.
CYPE has been developing structural design software for more than 35 years. This software conducts analyses of reinforced concrete and steel structures using stiffness matrix methods taking horizontal and vertical loads into account as well as wind and seismic loads.
CYPE software assists with urbanisation and infrastructures applications being involved in the digitalisation and monitoring of smart and sustainable cities.
