Cooling load calculation
The "Cooling load calculation" module enables the calculation of cooling loads (summer heat loads) in CYPETHERM (by selecting "Thermal loads" as the project type).
Once they have been granted permission for this module, users are free to choose which program to use for the calculation in question, depending on their interests and needs.

The "Cooling load calculation" module is used to calculate cooling loads in CYPETHERM by selecting "Thermal loads" as the project type.
CYPETHERM can be used to perform geometric and structural modelling of the building within the program interface itself or to import a model created using other technologies by linking to a project on BIMserver.center. Subsequently, the data required to complete the thermal model and perform the load analysis, such as the definition of the location, the interior conditions of the spaces and the loadcases, are configured within the program. The program provides a series of thermal load reports for each space and zone, as well as detailed information for each structural element of the model.
Later in the workflow, and using the appropriate combination of modules, the calculated thermal loads can be exported to the BIMserver.center project and used to size HVAC systems designed in other linked programs, such as CYPEHVAC.
CYPETHERM also offers the possibility of performing an energy simulation of the building or evaluating design alternatives, provided the appropriate modules are available.
