Options in the "Results" tab

In the "Results" tab of CYPECAD, accessible from the bottom of the general interface, the results obtained from the analysis of the different elements of the model are compiled and can be consulted. It also allows modifications to be made to the reinforcement and the design of the elements.

Among the main features of this tab are the following:

  • In the "Envelopes" menu, you can consult forces in beams, joists, shells and composite slabs; consult reinforcement quantities, displacements and forces in slabs and waffle slabs, and debonding and excessive stresses in foundation slabs; consult forces, displacements and distortions in columns, core walls and walls; and visualise the analytical model and the deformed shape of the structure.
  • In the "Columns/Shear walls" menu, you can access the specific column editor, which allows you to modify its reinforcement or the sections used, and consult the checks carried out.
  • In the "Beams/Walls" menu, you can access the specific beam editor, which also allows you to modify their reinforcement or of the sections of the sections used, as well as consult the checks carried out on them; edit reinforced concrete walls; check and design concrete group walls; and edit and check short corbels and inclined beams.
  • In the "Slabs/Waffle slabs" menu, you can consult and edit reinforcement in slabs and waffle slabs, including punching shear checking options.
  • In the "Joists", "Shells" and "Composite slabs" menus, you can consult the errors for each of these elements and the adjustment of the reinforcement or of the elements resisting positive and negative moments.
  • In the "Post-tensioned" menu, you can configure and edit components of post-tensioned slabs.
  • In the "Connections" menu, you can configure, consult and redesign the connections analysed in the structure.
  • And in the "Foundations" menu, checking, designing and editing of the geometry and reinforcement of the foundation elements.

In addition, from here you can obtain reports and print drawings of the project and of the different elements of the structure, as well as export the information to other programs.
