The "CYPETHERM EPlus" module can be used to carry out energy modelling and simulation of buildings in CYPETHERM using the EnergyPlus™ calculation engine, by selecting "Energy simulation" as the project type.

CYPETHERM can be used to carry out the geometric and structural modelling of the building within the program’s interface itself or, alternatively, to import a model created using other technologies by linking to a BIMserver.center project. The data required to complete the model and carry out the building’s energy simulation is then configured within the program.

CYPETHERM also offers the option to calculate the building’s thermal loads or evaluate design alternatives, provided the appropriate modules are available.
