“AcoubatBIM by CYPE”, the software for the acoustic analysis and design of buildings can be used in English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish

DESTACADO:

The software, which is integrated into the Open BIM workflow, analyses the acoustic insulation and conditioning of buildings using the “ACOUBAT” analysis motor and database of the CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment) of France.

The tool has been partially developed within the framework of the Holisteec project, which has received funding from the FP7 research and innovation program of the European Union.

CYPE has taken a step further in the internationalization of the "AcoubatBIM by CYPE" software, developed in collaboration with the French organization, CSTB (Center Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment), by adapting the program to English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian, as well as to the original French.

This way, users of any country in the world that use this computer tool will have more means when carrying out the study of the insulation and acoustic conditioning of buildings using the "ACOUBAT" analysis motor and database of the Center Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment of France. Professionals will be able to calculate the indices that evaluate insulation against airborne noise (indoor and outdoor), insulation against impact noise and the level of reverberation in indoor spaces, according to the procedure stated in the EN ISO 12354: 2017 codes.

The development of this program is based on the buildingSMART International standards, a non-profit association whose main objective is to promote efficiency in the construction sector by using open interoperability standards on BIM (Building Information Modeling). Additionally, the "AcoubatBIM by CYPE" software has been partially developed within the framework of the Holisteec project, which has received funding from the FP7 research and innovation program of the European Union under agreement no. 609138.
