CYPE joins the Italian association iBIMi to promote Open BIM technology

DESTACADO:

CYPE, present in Italy since 2012, is considered to be one of the companies of the sector that has most invested and bet on the implementation of BIM technology in the world.

CYPE, in Italy, has joined iBIMi, an association that aims to promote efficiency in the Italian construction sector by using open interoperability standards based on Open BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology and reach new and better levels in the reduction of costs and execution times in the country.

This way, CYPE, which has been present in Italy since 2012 when the first CYPE 3D and CYPECAD program licenses were sold, continues with its consolidation process in a country where it has become the only non-Italian company whose software has been certified by the Comitato Termotecnico Italiano (CTI) to faithfully measure, contrast and guarantee the energy efficiency of buildings in the country.

According to the Global Building Information Modeling (BIM) Market report prepared by the international consultancy, Credence Research, of the United States of America (USA), CYPE is considered to be one of the companies that has most invested and bet on the implementation of BIM technology in the world. The company has trained, in the last two years, over 4,000 professionals from around the world, to use and manage a collaborative, multidisciplinary and multi-user working methodology that allows for projects to be developed in an open, coordinated and simultaneous manner between different technicians or intervening agents.

As explained by Benjamín González, Director of Corporate Development of CYPE, CYPE joining the iBIMi association of Italy will allow professionals of the country to know how CYPE programs are adapted to Open BIM technology and to encourage the use of BIMserver.center, a platform to manage, share and update projects in the architecture, engineering and construction cloud based on BIM technology.
