The architecture, engineering and construction software company CYPE has taken a new step in its expansion on the Asian continent by signing a collaboration agreement with the Asia Pacific College of the Philippines, thanks to which students of the Architecture and Engineering schools will use CYPE's BIM software during their studies.
With this agreement, students will have the necessary licenses for using as well as learning how to operate CYPE's programs in an Open BIM workflow via the BIMserver.center platform. The agreement was corroborated by the president of Asia Pacific College, Teresita P. Medado, and CYPE's international sales director, Jaime Sempere.
Among the tools that students at Asia Pacific College will be able to use are BIM programs for architectural design such as CYPE Architecture, programs for structural design and analysis, for MEP, for renovation and energy efficiency, as well as for management and documents or life cycle analysis, among others.
Participation in the PHILCONSTRUCT expo
CYPE's trade mission in the Philippines also allows the AEC software company to participate in trade fairs and professional meetings along with Trendcom, its distributor in the country. Thus, the technology company has attended PHILCONSTRUCT, the most important construction industry fair in the country and the oldest in Southeast Asia.
The Spanish technology company's tour of the Philippines will end with its participation in the Structural Engineering Expo organised by the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP), which will take place between 30 November and 1 December. At the event, CYPE representatives will take the opportunity to showcase its BIM software solutions for designing and analysing structures. CYPE's programs allow professionals to complete the entire structural design cycle, by including the design and manufacturing phase through the connection between modelling programs and structural design and analysis programs belonging to the StruBIM Suite, made up of more than a dozen specialist programs.
