CYPE has just implemented in its software the concrete structures design codes and seismic protection design codes of Malaysia and Singapore. The adaptation of the standards is part of CYPE's international expansion strategy in Southeast Asia, where the Spanish company wants to position itself as a leading reference thanks to its solutions, which are fully adapted to Open BIM technology and aimed at professionals of the construction sector.
For Carlos Fernández, Technical Director of CYPE, the incorporation of these design codes is an essential step in “our Asian expansion plan where we bet, unlike other software development companies, on the implementation of the regulations of each country to facilitate the work of technical designers and professionals.”
Therefore, CYPE has incorporated the "Malaysia national annex to EUROCODE 2: Design of concrete structures - Part 1-1: General rules and rules for buildings" and the "Malaysia national annex to EUROCODE 8: Design of structures for earthquake resistance for earthquake resistance - Part 1: General rules, seismic actions and rules for buildings.
For Singapore , CYPE has implemented the "Singapore national annex to EUROCODE 2: Design of concrete structures -Part 1-1: General rules and rules for buildings" and the "Singapore national annex to EUROCODE 8: Design of structures for earthquake resistance - Part 1: General rules, seismic actions and rules for buildings”.
