CYPE will travel to Brazil in March to participate in the XX Edition of FEICON Batimat 2014, the fair specialised in the exposition of the latest technological advances in construction materials, building and air conditioning techniques of Brazil. From the 18th to the 22nd March, the facilities of São Paulo’s Anhembi Park fair precinct will once again receive the best professionals and companies of the sector, in an exhibition where CYPE will display all their new technological features to design safer and more energy efficient buildings.
At stand A-498 where our distributor, MULTIPLUS, will be situated, CYPE professionals will present the new 2014 program version of its software for Architecture, Engineering and Construction, highlighting the implementation of the version of the future concrete design code (NBR-6118:2003), which is currently at public discussion phase, and the module which allows users to work with both vertical and horizontal openings in beams, which is a helpful tool to have when designing projects where installations pass through beams, without affecting their overall resistance.
Similarly, professionals who approach the MULTIPLUS stand will get to know how to manage CYPECAD MEP’s new module, which designs solar thermal energy installations, complete air conditioning installations with multiple systems, electrical and lighting installations, as well as carry out the acoustic analysis and check fire and smoke propagation produced in case of a fire.
These new features are, furthermore, connected with a pioneer tool in Brazil, the Price Generator, with which professionals of the sector can estimate the cost of their construction projects, with detailed information on the prices depending on typological, geographical and national economic factors. This way, the software offers designers a view of the map of Brazil and of the specific zone where the project is to be developed when obtaining prices, with the aim of providing expenses more adjusted to reality, by taking into account the parametric system used by the program, designed to tackle all the typological, geographical and economic options which influence the final cost of the project.
