CYPE has carried out a trade mission in India lasting one week with the aim of promoting the company's professional meetings with the heads of the most important engineering companies in the country and strengthening CYPE's position in India, where it has been selling software since 2012 and which plays a strategic role in its international growth plans.
More specifically, CYPE representatives met with 20 directors of different engineering companies in the country at a meeting organised by the Structures and Geotechnical Consultants Association of Cochin (Kerala), to whom they showed the latest developments incorporated in CYPECAD and CYPE 3D programs. The trade mission also allowed CYPE managers to meet at the Ministry of External Affairs of India, in New Delhi, where they met with more than 15 engineers working in this department to show them the implementation of the Indian seismic code that CYPE has implemented in its software.
To conclude this mission, CYPE gave a presentation of its software to more than 100 professionals in Bangalore (Karnataka) at an event organised by the Association of Civil Engineers of India, the Indian Concrete Institute and the Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT). According to Carlos Fernández, CYPE's technical director, India is a strategic country in the company's internationalisation plans and for him, this trade mission "Is a boost for our company's image in India, while at the same time it has helped us to personally get to know the needs that Indian designers require".
