CYPE will participate in the GITEX Global 2022 congress in the United Arab Emirates this year, where it will showcase its technological and innovative solutions for the construction industry in the European Pavilion that the European Innovation Council will set up during the event, which will take place between 10 and 14 October in Dubai. CYPE is attending this international event after being invited by the European Innovation Council (EIC), Europe's flagship innovation program that aims to identify, develop and extend the use of ground-breaking technologies and innovations developed in the EU.
In recent years, the Spanish technology company has participated in ten European projects involving the use of BIM in the construction industry, the reduction of energy consumption and greater energy efficiency, the circular economy, building renovation and the use of smart glasses, among other areas.
For CYPE's technical director Carlos Fernández, CYPE's participation in GITEX Global 2022 is a further step in the company's marketing and promotion strategy in foreign markets, with the added bonus that "We will be able to benefit from the commercial opportunities offered by going hand in hand with Europe, which will also help us to strengthen the EU's innovation brand all over the world".
For this purpose, the technology company will have its own stand in the pavilion of the European Innovation Council and will participate in business meetings, events and conferences pre-established by the European body. According to the information provided by the organisers, the event will attract more than 1,000 expert speakers, 4,000 exhibitors and more than 200 governmental entities from 170 countries over the course of the event.
Visitors will be able to attend meetings on artificial intelligence, 5G communications, cloud-based solutions, big data, cybersecurity, blockchain and fintech, with a special focus on the area dedicated to smart cities and sustainability throughout the duration of this technological event.
AEC industry's BIM platform of international reference
Among the innovations that CYPE will showcase is BIMserver.center, one of the world's leading digital platforms for the AEC industry, which has more than 130,000 active users from 180 different countries and enables the use of more than 160 different applications to comprehensively manage the life cycle of a construction project, from the design phase to the execution phase and its subsequent management, in a secure, online environment.
The platform's own technology facilitates the early identification of problems during the planning, development and execution of any project by linking different areas of the project and automatically resolving many of its technical aspects thanks to the use of artificial intelligence.
