Implementation. PN-B-01706 (Poland)

"Instalacje wodociągowe - Wymagania w projektowaniu".

Some of the sections of PN-B-01706 ("Instalacje wodociągowe - Wymagania w projektowaniu"), which are included in the list of Polish standards contained in the "Rozporządzenie Ministra Infrastruktury (Dz. U. z 2022 r. poz. poz. 1225)", have been incorporated.

Implemented in CYPEPLUMBING.

Checking permissions when sharing a contribution in the BIMserver.center project

As of version 2025.d, when clicking the "Share" option of the apps (before starting the generation of the contribution files), a check is made to ensure that the user is part of the BIMserver.center project team. If the user does not have the appropriate permissions, a warning message is displayed. This prevents the generation of unnecessary files when the user does not have editing rights.

BIMserver.center new features window

As of version 2025.d, the "Project selection" window in the apps connected to BIMserver.center incorporates a new notification system to inform users about the latest new features on the platform.

This space displays relevant messages about new features, enhancements and recommendations related to BIMserver.center. In addition, direct links to documents, tutorials and additional resources will be included to facilitate the adoption of these new features.

Rotating elements during insertion using the space bar

As of version 2025.d, the interaction during the insertion of elements in the app's workspace has been improved. For those elements that the app allows to be rotated once inserted (Rotate element tool), it is now possible to rotate them in 90-degree intervals on the Z-axis by simply pressing the space bar on the keyboard before inserting them.

This feature allows for greater accuracy and speed when positioning components within the model, avoiding the need for subsequent adjustments.

New layer configuration options

As of version 2025.d, there is a third layer configuration (By criteria) for the elements in the system, in addition to the two that already existed in previous versions. The "Layer configuration" window is now organised as follows:

  1. By network (Type of pipe/Type of drainage)
Up until now it was only possible to activate or deactivate some of the networks, and from version 2025.d onwards the same options will be available as for the rest of the categories.

  2. By own elements

  3. By criteria (General options)
This new configuration ensures greater control both when entering the system and in the respective analysis of the entry made and the design.

All configurations now have the same options: to lock snaps, whether or not to display symbols or 3D and to control the opacity of the 3D, and the new possibility to select a display colour in the "Work area" for each of the elements. The latter makes it easier to highlight the areas to be studied.

Rearrangement of the toolbar

As of CYPEPLUMBING version 2025.d, elements such as consumption, downloads, fittings, which until now were entered directly from the upper toolbar, are now organised in floating menus that can be docked in the "Work area".

It is even possible to move them to another monitor, when working with several monitors, which facilitates their accessibility and visibility.

Furthermore, all buttons for graphical displays, which were located in the top toolbar, are now available in the side window "Layer settings".

Entering vertical pipes

Up until now, when entering a vertical pipe with the "Vertical pipe" tool, only the end point of the vertical pipe was requested.

As of version 2025.c, the start and end points are required. This makes it easier, for example in systems entered in the Sanitary Systems tab, to completely enter the vertical pipe (usually from the roof to the exit floor) at any floor in the job.

Creating diagrams in the new Solar Systems tab

Diagrams can now be created automatically in the "Solar Systems" tab in CYPEPLUMBING to complement the project information.

Improvements to the diagrams in the Water Systems and Sanitary Systems tabs

In the new version 2025.c of CYPEPLUMBING, libraries are created where the characteristics of the elements used in the diagrams are preserved. Up until now, these characteristics had to be entered in each job.

Changing the alignment of horizontal pipes in the Sanitary Systems tab

In previous versions, horizontal pipes in the "Sanitary Systems" tab were aligned to the bottom of their section and the program did not allow users to change this alignment.

Now, as of version 2025.c, CYPEPLUMBING allows users to change the alignment of these pipes to the centre or the upper side of the pipe section.

Links to the CYPE website in the apps help menu

In version 2025.c, new options have been added to the "Help" menu of all CYPE apps, providing direct links to key resources on the CYPE website. These options make it easier to access to useful information and Technical Support, improving the overall experience of using the program.

The new options are the following:

  • Technical support: This link provides information on the different ways of contacting the CYPE Technical Support team to clarify any queries, obtain customised assistance and solve any problem related to the apps.

  • User community: This option provides access to the CYPE user community, where users can share experiences, ask questions and discuss solutions with other professionals using the same tools. This community encourages the exchange of knowledge and best practices, helping to make the most of the program's features.

  • Learning resources: This link leads to a collection of learning resources, such as tutorials, manuals, videos and articles, designed to help you understand and use CYPE apps more efficiently. These materials are designed for all levels of experience, from beginners to advanced users, and are an excellent source of information to expand skills and technical knowledge.

These new additions make it easier to access information and provide the necessary support to improve the users' experience with the apps and to encourage professional development.
