Foundation elements
Introduction
With Foundation Elements, you can analyse, design, check, edit, and draw plans for footings, pile caps, and steel baseplates.
You can calculate the dimensions of the foundation element, reinforcement, etc., as well as modify and check the results. The analysis and design options and reinforcement tables can be customised for maximum convenience. You can also generate all kinds of complete reports and construction drawings.

Foundation elements
Pile caps
Design, verification and editing of pile cap reinforcement.
Pile caps of any shape can be designed, from a single pile to hexagonal caps with up to seven piles and rectangular caps with several rows of piles.
Centring beams can be inserted.
All reinforcement designs can be edited.
Baseplates
Design and verification of baseplates (using the finite element method) for steel columns.
Bracing and bolts can be entered and edited.
Concrete, bolts and baseplates can be inserted.
There is a library of simple and composite sections from leading manufacturers.
Footing
Design, verification and editing of footing reinforcement.
Supports square and rectangular footings of different types and centring beams.
Considers the self-weight loads, live loads, wind loads, snow loads and seismic loads, with checks on ground bearing pressures, equilibrium and concrete failure (bending and shear).
Licenses and related modules
CYPE programs are activated via electronic licenses which may contain one or more modules. The list of modules compatible with each program may vary depending on the product purchased and the type of license.
