Workflows supported by the program
CYPE Connect offers different workflow options as it is an Open BIM tool and is connected to the BIMserver.center platform.
- Modelling, analysis and graphical information of individual connections are all done completely within the program itself
- Importing a steel structure previously analysed in CYPECAD
- Importing a steel structure previously analysed in CYPE 3D
- Importing structural steel models in IFC format
- Importing structures from an XML file generated by ETABS®
- Importing structures from an XML file generated by SAP2000®
- Importing structural models and their forces from JSON files generated by any program

| The StruBIM Steel program incorporates all the CYPE Connect tools into its connection modelling options, in addition to the various options mentioned above. This creates a further advantage in the interaction between the two programs: users can save connections created in CYPE Connect to a local user library and then import them into StruBIM Steel, and vice versa. |
