Point and linear thermal bridges in different types of structural elements
In the building element libraries, if the "Thermal loads" project type has been selected, the following sections appear when defining an opaque building element type:
- Point thermal bridges (per m²)
Specify the presence of point thermal bridges per unit area of the element, and their localised thermal transmittance value (in “X (W/K)”).
- Linear thermal bridges
Specify the presence of linear thermal bridges across the surface of the element, in the "Horizontal" or "Vertical" direction, their linear thermal transmittance value (in "(W/(m·K))"), and their "Separation".

| These sections make it possible to take the additional presence of these thermal bridges into account numerically, without the need to include them in the model’s geometry or to use "Edge processing". |
