Forces in coupling beams
The "Forces" button, located in the centre of the interface, allows you to view and/or modify the forces in the beam selected from the list on the left-hand side.
Clicking on it opens a pop-up window displaying a table of the forces acting on the beam. Each force is determined by the following data:
- Combination
The reference to the combination of loadcases under which the applied forces occur. - Shear (Initial end)
Shear force value at the initial end of the coupling beam. - Shear (Final end)
Shear force at the end of the coupling beam.
The program retrieves this data during the initial import process from the analysis results included in the BIM model.
