CYPE participates in Sustainable Places 2024

DESTACADO:

CYPE is participating in a series of workshops on sustainability and energy efficiency at the Sustainable Places 2024 from 23 to 25 September in Luxembourg

Sustainable Places 2024 is one of Europe's main events focusing on the dissemination of research and European project clustering. The event addresses today's climate challenges and targets, from buildings to transport and energy infrastructures, with a special focus on the construction industry. The event, recognised for disseminating the results of European research projects such as Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, explores how to design, build and renovate spaces in the most sustainable way.

Sustainable Places 2024 offers technical sessions, workshops and conferences focused on topics such as renewable energies, energy transition and the implementation of technologies to improve energy efficiency. The CYPE team is also involved in this initiative, offering their expertise in programs that promote sustainability in the AEC industry.

Our involvement in Sustainable Places 2024

We are participating in three workshops that aim to expand the debate on sustainability in the construction industry. These presentations focus on promoting innovative solutions that optimise design and energy efficiency.

We are participating in the following workshops:

The first workshop focuses on the new developments of the SATO project, which allows the self-assessment and optimisation of energy consumption in buildings through a cloud-based platform. This system uses artificial intelligence and 3D BIM-based viewing to provide a detailed and accurate display of energy consumption, which facilitates decision-making for more efficient management.

The second workshop focuses on real-time energy management and how the SATO platform can improve the continuous monitoring and optimisation of buildings, helping managers to identify and reduce unnecessary energy consumption immediately.

Finally, a workshop about the possibilities of integrating advanced building management system (BMS) platforms with augmented intelligence solutions. This will allow buildings to be energy efficient, using real-time data to improve their performance and reduce their carbon footprint.

Beyond the event

CYPE's active participation in research and innovation events highlights its commitment to advancing sustainability in the construction industry. Through collaboration in various European R&D&I projects, the company contributes to the development of solutions that address the industry's current needs, while always aligned with global sustainability priorities. These projects include MULTICLIMACT, aimed at adaptation actions to improve resilience to climate change, and SATO, to optimise energy consumption in buildings through a cloud-based platform.

CYPE is also involved in initiatives such as TIMEPAC, which helps to improve existing energy certification processes through a more holistic and dynamic approach, and CHEK DBP, which provides an innovative set of tools for the digitisation of building permit issuance and the automation of code checks. These collaborations not only reinforce the importance of creating synergies between the different parties in the construction industry but also foster the exchange of knowledge and the implementation of innovative technologies.

Beyond these projects, CYPE's active participation in forums such as Sustainable Places highlights the relevance of addressing contemporary challenges in the industry. The company continues to explore and promote new strategies that improve the quality of life in cities, ensuring a sustainable approach in all its initiatives.

Sustainable Places 2024 is a unique opportunity to forge alliances and learn from the best specialists in the field. At CYPE, we promote sustainability in construction, offering useful tools that transform the way we face the challenges in the industry.
