The new snap, "Fictitious intersection", has been included, which improves object snap tracking as it is able to detect possible intersections between objects that are at different heights. This tracking makes the design more manageable and results in a more organised object distribution.

As of version 2022.b, applications with 3D drawing surroundings allow a viewing volume to be defined from the geometric envelope of the scene content. The arrows allow the viewing volume to be adjusted by moving their faces and the arches allow the viewing volume to be adjusted by means of 6 clips planes.
Before version 2022.a, all CYPE programs shared the same settings for contour plots and the background colour of the screen. As of version 2022.a, the settings for each program are different.
In all programs working with contour plots, a new colour palette has been added to the two existing ones. Furthermore, users can select the drawing mode with gradient colour or a colour wheel in all three palettes.

As of version 2021.f, in any CYPE program that generates plans, if the "Microsoft Print to PDF" type is selected as the printing device, the program will request for a selection of file names to be generated.
