Updates
Updates for all CYPE programs included in the perpetual license associated with the contract, from the previous version to the new version. Programs included in the CYPE one package are also updated.
New modules
Updates to any new modules added to the programs included in the perpetual license associated with the purchased contract, provided that such modules are released in versions or updates issued after the Maintenance agreement (currently CYPE One) was entered into.

El primer pago es anual y se abona al dar de alta el contrato o contratos. Antes de la renovación del contrato se pueden adquirir otros contratos. El coste de la renovación (un año después de la formalización del primer contrato) se abona de forma anual, y su precio depende de los contratos adquiridos.
El Contrato de mejoras depende de los programas incluidos en tu licencia. Por ejemplo, no es posible contratar únicamente el Contrato de Gestión y Documentación si tu licencia incluye programas de Estructuras o de Instalaciones, ni contratar solo el Contrato de Ingeniería si tu licencia incluye programas de Estructuras e Instalaciones.

What changes are there for users with a current maintenance agreement?
For users with a current maintenance agreement, the most significant change is the name of the service, which is now called CYPE one.
- Perpetual license retention: users who already hold a perpetual license will continue to retain it as such. If they decide not to renew the CYPE one service in the future, they will continue to hold their license for the latest version they have at the time of cancellation.
- Terms and rights: The new CYPE one for users with perpetual licenses works in the same way as the previous maintenance agreement. Users are entitled to receive any enhancements and updates released during the contract period, as well as premium technical support and exclusive discounts on the purchase of new modules.
- Renewal prices: prices for existing users remain the same as those they paid under their maintenance agreement. For example, a structural engineering maintenance agreement (€768/year) is now called "CYPE one GO Structural specialist" at the same cost upon renewal.
- New plan names: the plan name now includes a tier (GO, PRO or MAX) depending on the specialisations included in the user’s license. For example, users who have subscribed to all specialisations will now have a CYPE one MAX 360° designer plan, which now includes access to the Revit plugin for conversion to native format at no extra cost.
- Functional improvements: some users may see their range of tools expanded during the term of their subscription. For example, users who only have CYPECAD included in their perpetual license now also have access to CYPE 3D Starter, provided they keep their CYPE one GO Structural specialist subscription active.
How is the perpetual license maintained after cancellation?
- After cancelling the CYPE one service, your perpetual license will continue under the same conditions as the previous maintenance contract. The key points are as follows:
- What you keep when you cancel: you will keep your perpetual license for any software you already have, as well as the latest version available at the time of cancellation. If you only have a CYPE one plan without a perpetual license, your access will be deactivated.
- What you lose when you cancel: when cancelling your subscription, you can continue using the software, but access to the services and benefits provided through CYPE One will no longer be available. This includes:
- Premium technical support.
- The right to receive new enhancements and updates after the cancellation date.
- Access to temporary programs that may be included in your CYPE one plan (such as additional "Starter" versions that were not part of your original license).
- What you keep when you cancel: you will keep your perpetual license for any software you already have, as well as the latest version available at the time of cancellation. If you only have a CYPE one plan without a perpetual license, your access will be deactivated.
- Reactivation option: if you have cancelled the service, it can be reactivated in the future by taking out a new subscription; however, you will not be entitled to any improvements released during the period when the service was not active.
