CYPE is going expand its market presence in the United States (US) and will strengthen its commercial activity in America in the first quarter of 2016. To do so, it has opened its first office in the United States in the city of Atlanta, and will participate in two international fairs to be held in Orlando and Phoenix.
CYPETHERM Suite, which specialises in the thermal design of buildings, will first be shown, between the 25th and 27th January at the 2016 AHR EXPO event to be held in Orlando.
These computer programs, which were first presented in September last year in Atlanta and are updated on a monthly basis for use in the United States, allow for improved coordination between the energy model of a building and its construction project to optimise its energy efficiency.
Specifically, CYPETHERM Suite is a group of software programs that CYPE has developed exclusively for the American market and carries out the analysis and thermal and energy design of buildings. Amongst the software programs that will be displayed is the new IFC Builder program. This free software allows users to import any model in dxf, dwg, jpg, bmp, cad or BIM format to work with it in this new 3D format using IFC 4 standards.
Furthermore, CYPETHERM will present its software, CYPETHERM HVAC, a computer tool which analyses the thermal loads on buildings using methods and data recommended by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers. Another new feature of the new software, which distinguishes it from competing programs, is the ability to carry out the calculation of light and shadows of a project on the building model.
In mid-February CYPETHERM will again participate in an American international forum. Specifically, CYPE will participate in the Geotechnical and Structural Engineering Congress, which will be held between the 14th and 17th February in Phoenix and is organised by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
