CYPE is pleased to announce the release of the new version 2026 of its programs, which includes major improvements aimed at productivity, workflow and user experience.
Under the slogan "More in less time", the update brings significant advances in the fields of structures, facility systems and project management.
Advances in structures: new interface in CYPE 3D and more features
CYPE 3D includes a new interface based on ribbon-type options, which rearranges commands more logically and reduces the number of clicks needed for structural modelling.
Navigation has been redesigned to offer a more intuitive and agile experience, in line with today's productivity demands.
From a technical point of view, the program now includes a new module for modal vibration analysis and provides modal spectral analysis with non-linear combinations, expanding the possibilities for structural verification.
CYPECAD includes a new module for the automatic analysis and design of lightweight slabs. These improvements are complemented by advances in CYPE Connect and StruBIM Steel, which can now design prequalified connections in accordance with AISC 341 and AISC 358 standards, with optional validation using numerical simulation by the finite element method (FEM).
Facility systems: more automation and better performance
CYPEPLUMBING has launched a new automatic plumbing system layout feature, which significantly increases productivity and reduces the time needed to model hydraulic networks. This is one of the most practical innovations in this version.
For lighting, CYPELUX offers the automatic distribution of lights in the building's spaces, quickly and accurately optimising the lighting design.
Along with these improvements, version 2026 also includes important updates in other facility system disciplines, with new features in the CYPEHVAC, CYPELEC, and CYPETEL programs, reaffirming CYPE's commitment to the continuous evolution of its solutions for facility systems in buildings of all specialities.
Project management: optimised visualisation and control
Version 2026 also includes advances in job and budget management. CYPE Construction Works, the company's main technological commitment to digitising the planning and monitoring of job execution, continues to evolve with new features. This version highlights the possibility of generating videos by construction phases, a feature that expands the program's potential as a visual communication and executive control tool.
Although the program is currently only available in Spanish, it is already shaping up to be an innovative proposal with great growth potential, aligned with the digitisation trends in the AEC industry.
Arquimedes and CYPE Cost Database have also been improved with new template models, additional manufacturers and more comprehensive environmental data, reinforcing the commitment to sustainability and transparency in projects. The CYPE Cost Database is a database containing a variety of construction-related information and is available for 31 countries, both in its web version and integrated into CYPE programs.
With version 2026, CYPE reaffirms its full commitment to developing integrated, automated solutions tailored to the ever-changing needs of the construction industry.
