CYPE presents its new software StruBIM in the Geotechnical & Structural Engineering Congress 2016 in the United States

CYPE will travel this month of February to Phoenix to participate in the Geotechnical & Structural Engineering Congress 2016, an event organised by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

Between the 14th and 17th of February, the Phoenix Convention Center facilities will host the best professionals and companies of the sector to promote the latest technological advances in structural and geotechnical fields with exhibitions and technical conferences taking place during the event.

New StruBIM software

From stand 424 in North Hall 6, CYPE will present all attendees, who wish to know more about its new StruBIM software, a suite of structural engineering programs for buildings that designs structural elements by analysing, dimensioning, verifying and providing structural drawings (Record Documents) of the defined elements. All this focused towards BIM workflow, so the different agents involved in the project can exchange information using standard files (IFC and XML), by synchronising the various BIM models, including their architectural design, installations, quantities...

The program version presented in this event is available in English and Spanish, but is geared to the American market, hence, it has been adapted to the ACI 318, ANSI/AISC and ASCE 7-10 codes. New features and other international design codes will be added in future program versions.
