CYPE has developed a software application that allows different designers to perform thermal analysis and calculation of a building simultaneously and in real time with the Open BIM

CYPE has been awarded the bronze medal in the Innovation Competition of the International Exhibition of Building Batimat France for the development of a software tool that allows synchronization of projects and thermal analysis calculation with the Open BIM technology, getting that all stakeholders work together and simultaneously in the same model in real time.

CYPE President Vicente Castell, and the director of CYPE France, Yves Ménez, were in charge of collecting the award on Tuesday. At the ceremony, the contest organizers and the international exhibition of construction Batimat, which this year will be held between 2 and 6 November, praised the CYPE software innovation to ensure that the "capacity offered by the software CYPE designers to work in real time on the same model is an innovation that will revolutionize the construction industry by improving its efficiency, competitiveness and reducing run times.”

CYPE has implemented this technological innovation in the software adapted to the French legislation CYPETHERM, which is also the only one that allows the modelling of 3D graphics and obtaining the agreement of the official thermal regulation studies of new or renovated buildings in France.

Cooling and heating loads based on the Radiant Time Series Method (RTSM) of ASHRAE are also available as well ASHRAE “Weather Data Viewer 4.0” database with 5.564 stations located around the world.

Furthermore, in the area of facilities, attendees can also work with the Label Effinergie +, the PAC V dual-use certificate, the feedback system of geothermal energy and the use of thermal solar energy for domestic hot water, etc.
