CYPE will travel this month to Atlanta (United States) to participate in the Energy Modeling Conference: Tools For Designing High Performance Buildings organised by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and will bring together experts and leading companies from the construction sector to analyse the new existing work tools, which improve the coordination between the energy model of a building and its construction project, to improve its energy efficiency.
This meeting will take place between the 28th September and 2nd October in Atlanta, its theme is Making the Difference With Modeling: From Concept to Facility Management. In it, attendees will learn the latest technology to facilitate communication and coordination between energy models and the software industry in creating high performance building models.
Hence, on Monday 28th September, CYPE will hold a conference titled CYPETHERM HVAC: Load calculation and numerical analysis of thermal bridges into the OPEN BIM workflow using IFC4 where it will display its new 3D building modelling software that is integrated in OPEN BIM technology and allows the workflow of any project using IFC4 standards. Furthermore, CYPE will present its software CYPETHERM HVAC, a software tool that analyses the thermal loads of buildings using methods and data recommended by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers.
Currently, CYPE already sells its software for calculating large engineering structures of the country, as well as for Spanish companies such as Abengoa, who will carry out projects in the United States. In this aspect, the technical director of CYPE, Carlos Fernández, emphasizes that one of the company’s medium to long term aims is to establish itself in the United States and recalls that in recent years CYPE has participated in various professional forums in the country such as, for example, in Dallas, Texas.
