The INFORMACIÓN newspaper and Bankia have presented CYPE with the award for the best exporting company in the province of Alicante at the 5th edition of the IN4Bankia awards, an initiative promoted by the newspaper and the financial institution to recognise and highlight the work of the companies that constitute the productive structure of Alicante. This year's jury valued the exporting efforts of the Alicante-based company whose software for architecture, engineering and construction is used by more than 100,000 professionals in 168 countries on all five continents: Europe, America, Africa, Oceania and Asia.

Laura Navarro, the director of Alicante-Elche Airport and an industrial engineer, was in charge of presenting the award statuette to Benjamín González, CYPE's Director of Corporate Development. During his speech, Benjamín González expressed his gratitude for this award which "is a real thrill for all CYPE colleagues and a recognition for the significant internationalisation work we are carrying out which has been boosted by the digitisation that the construction industry is undergoing". He also stressed that the award is the result of the effort and dedication of all the company's workers located all over the world, most of whom are based at the headquarters in the city of Alicante.

In 2020, CYPE continued with its international expansion plan, which has been focused on the English-speaking market. To this end, at the beginning of the year, it strengthened its international presence with the signing of different collaboration agreements for the distribution and marketing of its solutions in the United States (USA), the United Kingdom (UK) and the Republic of Ireland. Furthermore, it has just signed a collaboration agreement in India with the Design2Occupancy company, which specialises in providing services related to energy efficiency in the building sector, to distribute its IT solutions and provide training to those using the Spanish technology in this country.
