Introduction

CYPELEC Core is a free program for analysing low-voltage electrical systems that allows users to draw single-line diagrams of the system and configure the characteristics of the elements included in the system.

It calculates the load flow and short-circuit flow, offering the possibility of editing all its elements with no power or number of line restrictions. Its results output allows users to obtain single-line diagram drawings, justification reports, quantity tables and results tables.

The analysis tests carried out in the program are based on the specifications of the international IEC standards.

This application is integrated into the Open BIM workflow via the IFC standard, ensuring its interaction with the rest of the tools.
