Dynamic fire simulation
The “Dynamic fire simulation” module is used to calculate the dynamic simulation of the evolution of fires in buildings using the computational fluid dynamics model called FDS developed by NIST in CYPEFIRE FDS.
With the permission for this module, users can choose whether to use either program to perform dynamic fire simulation in buildings according to their interests and needs.
FDS Module in CYPEFIRE FDS
To be able to use CYPEFIRE FDS, the “Dynamic fire simulation” module must be included in the user license.
When using CYPEFIRE FDS, users can create a geometric model in the same program or import a model created in other technologies by linking it to a BIMserver.center project. Then, the data needed to carry out the calculation of the dynamic fire simulation is configured in the program.
