CYPE software versions
Professional version, Evaluation version, Campus version and Temporary license
CYPE offers different ways of accessing its programs: Professional version, Evaluation version, Campus version and Temporary license.
The Evaluation Version can be accessed for free and is available for all CYPE programs and modules, although its time of use is limited.
The Temporary Licence, the Campus Version and the Professional Version have personalised access to the purchased programs and modules.
Professional version
The CYPE version for construction professionals
The users who purchase it can use it whenever they like. They have access to all the CYPE programs and modules they have purchased, with no time or schedule limits, i.e. they can use it indefinitely.
The professional version of CYPE programs requires a security device or electronic key that provides users with access to the programs and modules purchased. This safety device can be physical (physical electronic key) or virtual (electronic license).
The Physical electronic key is sent to the customer when the license is purchased and contains the permissions for using the purchased CYPE programs and modules.
With the Electronic licence, users have access, via the Internet (after identifying themselves with a personal name and password), to a CYPE server where the programs and modules purchased are stored. A permanent broadband Internet connection is required.
There is no specific USB for installing the Professional version. You can install the Professional version with the CYPE software installation USB, or with the file available in the download area of the CYPE website. During the installation process, you will be asked which type of version you wish to install.
Evaluation version
Try all CYPE software for free with the Evaluation Version
CYPE offers a free access version of all its software (Evaluation version) to whoever wishes to use it, with a fixed time limit.
The Evaluation version allows users to freely use all CYPE software for 10 days, not necessarily consecutively, during which they can evaluate all the options in our programs. It requires a permanent broadband Internet connection. Although 10 days may not seem long (most evaluation versions allow 30 calendar days from installation), as they are not consecutive, they are equivalent to using the program an average of one day a week, for more than two months. Our version, with a shorter number of days but with no time limit, allows you to interrupt the evaluation of the program and resume it months later.
With the Evaluation version, CYPE wants to introduce its software to construction professionals who are not yet using it as a working tool, with no compromises or restrictions. We are confident in the high potential of our programs, and we are sure that a large number of professionals who try them out will consider purchasing the professional version for their daily work. The Evaluation version also allows our customers to test new versions or programs and modules that they have not yet purchased.

Campus version
A version for Universities
CYPE offers different ways of using its programs with the same features for each of them. These are the Evaluation version, the Temporary license, the Campus Version and the Professional version.
The Campus Version of CYPE software is similar to the Temporary license but has been specially designed to work on public networks that operate under the Eduroam (education roaming) premises, as is already done by numerous Universities worldwide (Europe, Canada, USA, and some countries in Asia and Oceania such as China, Japan, Australia or New Zealand).
The Campus Version allows CYPE programs and modules agreed with a University to be run freely during a specific period, normally an academic year. To use it, a key provided by CYPE must be entered, and a permanent broadband Internet connection must be available. It is designed exclusively for non-professional academic use.

There is no specific installation file for the Campus version. In the download area of our website you can download the latest version of the CYPE programs which will offer you the Campus Version option during installation.
Temporary license
A teaching tool
CYPE offers different ways of using its programs with the same features for each of them. These are the Evaluation version, the Temporary license, the Campus Version and the Professional version.
The Temporary license is a version that offers temporary use of the programs and modules by means of an access key provided by CYPE. It requires a permanent broadband Internet connection.
It is intended to be used in courses of CYPE programs taught in academies, universities and other educational institutions.
