Supported structural models
StruBIM Uploader is used to incorporate models generated in the following formats produced by structural design apps and including design results into Open BIM projects:
- IFC produced with Advance Design®
Advance Design® is a registered trademark of GRAITEC Innovation SAS. When this option is selected, the program requests the selection of an IFC file and another results file in TXT format, both generated from Advance Design®. - CYPE 3D® structural model
CYPE 3D® is a registered trademark of CYPE Ingenieros, S.A. StruBIM Uploader is not required to incorporate CYPE 3D® structural models into Open BIM projects hosted on the BIMserver.center platform, as CYPE 3D® has an integrated direct link. - CYPECAD® structural model
CYPECAD® is a registered trademark of CYPE Ingenieros, S.A. StruBIM Uploader is not required to incorporate CYPECAD® structural models into Open BIM projects hosted on the BIMserver.center platform, as CYPECAD® has an integrated direct link. - XML produced with ETABS®
ETABS® is a registered trademark of Computer and Structures, Inc. The current implementation includes "ETABS 2016", "ETABS 18" and "ETABS 21". Using the information contained in the ETABS® XML, StruBIM Uploader generates the information required to perform the shear wall design in StruBIM Shear Walls. The bars of the structure and their forces can also be imported into CYPE Connect and StruBIM Steel. - XML produced with SAP2000®
SAP2000® is a registered trademark of Computer and Structures, Inc. An XML file containing all model definition tables ("MODEL DEFINITION") and member stress tables (from "ANALYSIS RESULTS", selecting "Element Output" and then "Frame Output") must be exported from SAP2000®. Bars in the structure and bar forces can be imported by combination into CYPE Connect and StruBIM Steel. - Other apps
In the StruBIM Uploader start panel, other apps such as MIDAS®, Autodesk® RobotTM, SOFiSTiK®, among others, whose connection has not yet been implemented, can be viewed and selected by the user to request CYPE to include them in a future version. This will give first-hand knowledge of users' needs and preferences.
