The following modifications have been made to the apps available in the CYPE Menu:

As of version 2025.b, applications now display a warning message in their initial window when a new update is available. This message provides information about the "installed version" and the "available version", together with a direct link to the Store page of the BIMserver.center web platform.
Clicking on the “Upgrade to the latest version” button automatically starts the download and installation process of the application. This feature ensures that the most current version of the program is always being used, thus benefiting from the latest improvements.
This method replaces the automatic notification and update process of a new version in the BIMserver.center programs available in previous versions.
In the configuration panel for each application, a direct link to its page in the BIMserver.center web store has been included.
By clicking on the “Go to BIMserver.center Store” button, users are redirected directly to the corresponding page in the Store, where they can learn more about the application, view its features, read reviews from other users and see examples of real contributions.
This feature provides easy access to additional resources and support, enhancing the user experience by providing quick and easy access to all relevant information about the applications.
An information message has been incorporated into the installation button of the applications so that, before proceeding with the installation, users can identify which applications are free to use (free of charge) and which require licensing permissions (including paid modules).
This enhancement improves the user experience by providing clarity and transparency on the options available to the user based on their license model.
In the new 2025.b version of CYPE Menu, the background installation feature has been added. Users can now continue working on other tasks while applications are automatically installed in the background.
During the background installation process, the “Installing program” message is displayed next to the applications button in the main CYPE Menu window. Once completed, the message disappears and the application can be run.
This feature is designed to make applications easier to use and manage, improving productivity and the overall experience by minimising waiting time and interruptions during the installation of new applications or upgrades.
There is now an additional option in the main CYPE Menu window to “Log in” to BIMserver.center.
This way, downloaded applications also appear in the user's account on the BIMserver.center platform.

The "Updates" option has been implemented in the main CYPE Menu window. Thanks to this tool, multiple updates of installed applications can be carried out via the CYPE Menu.
When clicking on the “Updates” option, a window opens with a list of all installed applications. Select a set of them and, after clicking "Accept", the update process will start.
During this process, progress is displayed in the main CYPE Menu window indicating the current status of the update.
If an update is available for the CYPE Menu itself, it is shown below the list of applications to be updated. However, it is important to note that the update of the CYPE Menu is carried out on its own.
This new feature makes application maintenance easier, ensuring that the latest improvements are always available.
In version 2025.a, CYPE Menu (which can now be downloaded exclusively from the BIMserver.center platform) has new program groups.
Most of the CYPE applications are sorted into these groups. In previous versions, most of these applications could only be downloaded as single applications from the BIMserver.center platform.
By downloading and installing CYPE Menu, users will only have the CYPE programs menu installed, but none of the applications included in it will be downloaded or installed. Initially, each of the icons representing the CYPE Menu applications appears in a box with a grey background. When clicking on any of them for the first time (or on the button under the application's name), a contextual menu will appear allowing users to download and install the latest version of that application or an earlier version if available. Earlier versions (from 2024 onwards) will be available for those programs that include paid modules. Normally, free applications will only allow the latest version of these programs to be installed. Any installed version of any application can be uninstalled.
When an application has been installed, by clicking on the button under its name, the context menu that appears includes the "Uninstall" option.

The CYPE Menu download of versions before 2025 (with the applications included) is still available in the download area of the CYPE website.
As of version 2025.a, the CYPE program menu can only be downloaded from the BIMserver.center platform.
The CYPE Menu application was already available from version 2024.b on the BIMserver.center platform. Now, in version 2025.a, the advantages of CYPE Menu compared to previous versions, which were downloaded from the download area of the CYPE website, are as follows:

In the download area of the CYPE website, the download of the program menu for versions prior to 2025.a (in 64-bit and 32-bit) will still be available. In this download area, there is also a link to the BIMserver.center platform "Store" for downloading the 2025.a version of "CYPE Menu".
As a result of these changes, the 32-bit version of the CYPE Menu is no longer available in version 2025.a. As of 18 February 2019 (version 2019.f), the CYPE programs have been running on 64-bit systems. Since then, only the classic CYPE menu could be installed on 32-bit systems. All other applications (downloadable from the BIMserver.center platform) only worked on 64-bit systems. We believe that 32-bit programming is no longer feasible to take advantage of the superior performance of 64-bit processors and operating systems. Users who still want to use certain 32-bit CYPE programs (those available in the "CYPE Menu" prior to version 2025.a) must install a version prior to 2025.a from the download area of the CYPE website, but will not be able to upgrade their programs to later versions. Please refer to our FAQ question "Which version should I download, 64-bit or 32-bit?" for more information on the 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
As of version 2024.f, the CYPE Menu tool (available on the BIMserver.centre platform Store) allows users to manage the updates of the applications it includes.
When accessing the CYPE Menu, the program checks whether there is a newer version of the installed applications and, if so, the "Update" option appears next to them.
The update process will download the application and, once completed, will start the installation.
The Construction details manager is a CYPE tool which allows for the details of the CYPE Construction details library to be included in AutoCAD (Construction Details: Steel, concrete and composite; Construction Details of Sloped floor slabs). In previous versions, this tool was installed in AutoCAD, where a special CYPE menu appeared, from which they could be selected to include them in the drawing under edition in AutoCAD.
A handicap of this tool was that with the new versions of the Autodesk program, the CYPE Construction details manager had to be modified, and so, a period of time would elapse between the emergence of the new AutoCAD version in the market and the moment when CYPE would publish the Construction details manager version, allowing for it to operate correctly in the Autodesk program. Additionally, until now, the Construction details manager did not operate in AutoCAD 64 bits.
Now, as of the 2013.o CYPE program version, the Construction details manager has been renamed Construction details library for structures and is located in the Documents program group of the main CYPE programs menu. It is not installed in AutoCAD; it is executed from the main CYPE programs menu and remains in a floating window, from which the selected construction detail can be dragged to the AutoCAD window or to the window of any other CAD program that accepts it, inserting itself in the drawing under edition.
To insert the detail, the image of the detail (in the Construction details library for structures window) has to be pressed on using the left mouse button, dragged to the CAD program window, then the mouse button released.
This way, the Construction details library for structures of CYPE can insert details in AutoCAD (of any 32 or 64 bit version) or in any other application (Autodesk or another software manufacturer) that allows for drawings to be imported using this method.
