CYPELEC PV Systems

Version 2023.a of CYPELEC PV Systems allows the "d" distance between panels with the "Horizontal plane" type of installation to be projected on the model. The visibility of this projection can be activated and deactivated in the view by means of a button in "Snap options".

Version 2022.e of CYPELEC PV Systems allows the "Production-Consumption analysis" document to be generated in the "Energy pre-design" work window for installations that are "Connected to the network" and the "Total values" of production and consumption.

The generation of this document was already implemented in version 2022.c of CYPELEC PV Systems for installations that are "Connected to the network" and "Hourly values" of production and consumption.

This document can be exported in different text formats.

CYPELEC PV Systems version 2022.e allows users to define the percentage of maximum loss due to orientation and slope (General Options > General Parameters > Maximum loss due to orientation and slope) for all types of photovoltaic panel installations (Inclined plane, Horizontal plane, Overlay and Architectural integration).

This way, depending on the type of installation, the maximum and minimum slopes of the panels, as well as the maximum loss due to orientation and slope for each panel, will be checked.

CYPELEC PV Systems version 2022.h allows a new document to be generated. It is the "Design procedure", where the justification of the job's designs is summarised.

In version 2022.g, CYPELEC PV Systems independently checks the input voltage of each MPPT device. This way, it is possible to define a different branch configuration for each of the trackers.

CYPELEC PV Systems version 2022.g allows the "Assign" option to be configured. Users can now choose the properties of the PV module they wish to copy to the other modules they select.

Version 2022.f of CYPELEC PV Systems generates a production document as a summary. It shows the production values for each period as well as a bar chart showing all of them together.

CYPELEC PV Systems version 2022.f allows the shade factor to be set manually. To do this, the shade factor (SF) is incorporated as a parameter in the "Photovoltaic module" editing panel with a padlock that allows the value to be locked. Thus, if the padlock is open, the software analyses the shading diagram of the panel and obtains the shade factor value. On the other hand, if the shade factor is entered manually and then locked (the padlock is closed), the software will not analyse the shading diagram, and its shade factor will be defined by the manually entered value.

If the architectural model of the associated BIM project has been imported, when solar panels of the "Overlay" or "Architectural integration" installation types are inserted, moved or copied, CYPELEC PV Systems automatically detects the roof and its inclination and places the panel on it with its corresponding inclination.

When calculating the energy produced by the system, CYPELEC PV Systems version 2022.f enables an option to obtain the shading diagram of the panels in a simplified way. With this option, the program extends the intervals with which the shading diagram is analysed.

Version 2022.f of CYPELEC PV Systems includes an optimised shadow analysis process, which reduces calculation time.

If the architectural model of the associated BIM project has been imported, the CYPELEC PV Systems energy pre-design analyses and displays the maximum number of panels based on the roof surface area.
