Data input and output sequence for the implementation of circuit and load distribution in electrical systems
The design of low voltage electrical systems can be carried out in the program by means of the following input and output sequence:
- Starting the program and selecting the work environment and regulations.
- Creating a new job (from "File", "New").
- (Optional) Linking to BIMserver.center and importing project requirements from the load distribution and circuits read from the BIM model.
- Setting the general options (from "Project, "General conditions").
- Configuration of the supply (from "Project", "Supply").
- (Optional) Defining types of elements. This can be done in two complementary ways:
- Manually loading or entering generic element libraries (from "Project", "Element library").
- Loading manufacturer catalogues (from "Project", "Manufacturer catalogues").
- Reviewing the configuration, analysis and design options (from "Project", "Configuration"/"Analysis options"/"Design options").
- Defining and entering the elements of the single-line diagram of the low-voltage electrical system. This can be done in several ways:
- (Optional) Generating the single-line diagram from the project requirements in case they have been imported from the BIM model ("Generate a single-line diagram that meets the project requirements" option on the left-hand side).
- Defining and entering and/or revising the schematic elements manually:
- Defining and entering the hierarchy of groups and lines in the intermediate levels of the schematic (options in the "Lines" group).
- Defining and entering the circuits at the final levels of the schematic (options in the "Circuits" group).
- (Optional) Defining and entering the special lines of the schematic (options of the "Special lines" group).
- Analysing or designing the installation, consulting the results on screen and in the results reports (options in the "Calculation" group).
- (Optional) Managing and generating the bill of quantities ("Bill of quantities" tab).
- Obtaining reports and drawings (from "File", "Reports/ Drawings").
- Exporting to BIMserver.center (from "BIMserver.center", "Share").
