Glazed openings library (the "Building" tab)
The definition of the characteristics of glazed openings in the libraries of the project is necessary in order to specify the data relating to their thermal performance. This data can be entered manually or by referring to various catalogues and reference standards containing predefined materials, and will affect the calculation performed by the program.
The tools for managing the model’s glazed opening libraries can be found on the "Building" tab and, within the "Project" tree view, in the "Libraries" section, after selecting the "Glazed openings" level.
Glazed openings can be exported to files on the hard drive with the .bib934 extension.
The parameters used to define each glazed opening in the library depend on the type of project selected:

| "Glazed openings" are translucent openings that allow solar radiation to pass through and are incorporated into building elements such as windows, glazed doors or skylights. The program also lets you define a "Curtain wall" in the "Elements" category. If this type of building element is used, you don't need to add glazed openings to it. |
