CYPE presents the new courses available on CYPE Learning

This June, CYPE brought together the company's collaborators at its headquarters in Alicante to give them a first-hand look at the new features of version 2024 and to inform them about the new solutions that the company has developed for teachers and academies via the BIMserver.center Education platform. The meeting was attended by distributors from Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Slovenia, Poland, Morocco and Malaysia, and training schools in Spain specialising in CYPE programs.

Regarding the version's new features, the company's technical director, Carlos Fernández, explains that they have reviewed the latest improvements included in the CYPE ecosystem, such as the new options for modelling metal connections with haunches in StruBIM Steel, the new punching shear studs and the new ramp module in CYPECAD for analysing and designing ramp slabs as isolated elements of the structure.

Furthermore, the latest developments related to the synchronisation of projects developed with CYPE programs on the BIMserver.center platform and the new tools of different MEP programs were also presented. The attendees also learned about the improvements implemented in the Open BIM-Revit Plugin by means of a real example where models from manufacturers' systems included in the Open BIM Systems family of applications have been used.

The meeting was also used as an opportunity to present the new options available for integrating solutions from different manufacturers into CYPE's project software via the Open BIM Database, an application where users can upload manufacturers' products so they can then be downloaded and incorporated into the analysis of their projects.

Regarding the new solutions that the company has developed for teachers and academies via the BIMserver.center Education platform, Carlos Fernández highlighted the new system interface and the new "Practical example" section, where users can find different exercises to learn about concepts related to BIM technology. Finally, CYPE presented the new sections and courses available in CYPE Learning and the possibilities of integrating partner courses into it.
