Mapping files
In most of the programs that include the "Bill of quantities" tab, a cost database and a mapping example for elements in the system have been included. It should be noted that this is just an example and that users will be able to create their own mappings and cost databases.
Note:
In "Mapping files" there is an option for importing the work section structure from a file in FIEBDC-3 (.bc3) format. With this tool, it is easier to use the work section structure from a cost database or from a previous bill of quantities. Furthermore, the work section structure of the active cost database can be copied to "Mapping files".
