Lists of issues in CYPE software
List of general issues
The following section lists some general error messages that may appear while using CYPE programs. By clicking on any of the available links, you can find a detailed explanation of each issue and recommendations for resolving it:
- Error in CYPE software – Warning: A security check has failed
- Why is error 30333 occurring?
- A serious error has occurred. It is impossible to continue running the program. Click Accept, make a note of the error in the Details>> window and contact CYPE Ingenieros technical support.
- The version of the file read is incorrect
- Coordinates above 1000.000 m are not permitted
- The application could not be started [...]
- The file cannot be opened because it is currently in use by another application
- For safety measures and to protect our clients, the program has blocked the job you are trying to open. This is due to the threat of viruses or malicious programs accessing the system due to use of manipulated versions of CYPE programs. The file has been blocked. If you wish to check whether the file contains harmful material, if you believe it has not been modified using manipulated versions, or for any other information or help to resolve this incident, please contact CYPE's technical support department
- The maximum number of incorrect access attempts to the temporary license has been reached. For safety reasons, the license has been temporarily deactivated. Please try again in a few minutes
- The maximum number of simultaneous users for this license has been reached
- An error has occurred, there is not enough memory to run the program
- Wrong code-page. CYPE applications are not Unicode applications. Therefore, it is necessary to select the appropriate code-page to run the software
List of issues in CYPE 3D
Listed below are some of the issues that may occur in the program. By clicking on any of the links provided, you can find a detailed explanation of each problem and recommendations on how to fix it:
- One of the elements of the continuous beam forms an angle greater than 80 with the horizontal plane.
- The column cannot form part of a braced frame.
- The braced frame has not been completely entered.
- The bar in tension is not associated with a completely braced frame.
- The length of the bar is less than the minimum permitted length.
- The element must be vertical, with its local x axis in the ascending direction.
- The element is not defined between two levels.
- The beam cannot form part of a braced frame.
- The sections assigned to the two bars in tension composing the braced frame must be identical.
- A node has been found that is not connected to a bar or a shell.
- A tie cannot have intermediate nodes.
The following errors and warnings are displayed when using the “Check elements” or "U.L.S. checks" options on the top toolbar of the "Analysis" tab
- The compression axial force is excessive and exceeds the critical buckling axial forces.
- The compression axial force is excessive and exceeds the plastic axial resistance.
- The tensile axial force is excessive and exceeds the plastic resistant axial force.
- It is not possible to carry out the check, as the shear is excessive and overcomes the resistance of the section. Therefore, it is not possible to check the interaction between bending and shear.
- An error has occurred; the slenderness of the bar is greater than the limit slenderness.
- The fire resistance check has been omitted
List of issues in Open BIM Analytical Model
Listed below are some of the errors and issues that may occur in the program. By clicking on any of the links provided, you can find a detailed explanation of each problem and recommendations on how to fix it:
- A valid volume must be defined for the space
- The properties of the surface of the opening are not compatible with the properties of the surface contained by the opening
- The reference of the surface has not been defined
- No analytical surface has been defined for an element of the physical model
